Multi-Core Distribution Indoor Fiber Cable GJFJV (4–144 Core), Tight-Buffered, LSZH/PVC

Tight-buffered indoor distribution cable for building backbones and risers. GJFJV uses 900 µm tight-buffer fibers, aramid yarn strength members, and PVC or LSZH jackets for fast stripping, direct connector termination, and clean, code-compliant installs. Available from 4 to 144 fibers (high counts via micro-distribution build).

Description

Close-up of GJFJV indoor distribution fiber optic cable with 900µm tight-buffered fibers, aramid yarn strength, and LSZH/PVC jacket.

GJFJV is a multi-core indoor distribution cable built around 900 µm tight-buffer fibers with aramid yarn strength members and a PVC or LSZH outer jacket. The construction strips cleanly for quick terminations—ideal for risers, IDF/MDF rooms, and campus/building backbones.

Where it’s used

  • Vertical risers and building backbones
  • Data rooms, patch fields, and campus interiors
  • Direct termination to connectors (no fan-out kits required)
  • Pre-terminated trunk assemblies for rapid turn-up

Construction & Options

  • 900 µm tight-buffer fibers inside common jacket; PVC or LSZH available.
  • Aramid yarn strength members for tensile performance.
  • Temperature (transport/storage/operate): −20 °C to +60 °C; installation −5 °C to +50 °C.
  • Color code: TIA/EIA-598 fiber/tube sequence (Blue→Aqua).

Fiber Types & Bend Guidance (typical)

  • OS2 G.652D / G.657A1 / G.657A2; typical attenuation 0.36/0.22 dB/km @1310/1550 nm; minimum fiber bend radius down to 7.5 mm with G.657A2.

Note: For 48–144F, supply as micro-distribution (250 µm sub-units) on request to keep OD manageable while maintaining tight MBR; we’ll provide the exact OD/weight at quote time (see micro distribution family in the manual).

Compliance & Standards

  • IEC 60794-2, GR-409 indoor cable framework; CPR/CE, RoHS/REACH materials on request.

Key Benefits

  • Fast termination: 900 µm tight-buffer cores strip cleanly for field or factory connectorization.
  • Strong & compact: Aramid yarn delivers tensile performance without bulky armor.
  • Code-ready jackets: PVC or LSZH builds for region-specific fire and smoke requirements.
  • Broad fiber choice: OS2 and OM classes, including bend-insensitive G.657 for tight spaces.
  • Scales to high counts: 4–24F standard; 48–144F via micro-distribution to control OD and weight.

Applications

  • Building backbones and risers
  • Data center and enterprise distribution
  • Pre-terminated indoor trunks
  • Interconnects in ODFs, cabinets, and equipment rooms

FAQ

Q1. What’s the difference between distribution and breakout cable?
Distribution uses 900 µm tight-buffer fibers within one common jacket (smaller OD, lower cost). Breakout uses multiple simplex sub-units (larger OD, more rugged per-fiber).

Q2. Can you supply riser/plenum versions for North America?
Yes—PVC/LSZH builds are available; project-specific OFNR/OFNP statements can be provided at quote.

Q3. What bend limits should I observe?
Use ≥20D during install and ≥10D in service for the cable; fiber classes like G.657A2 allow 7.5 mm min bend at the fiber level.

Q4. Do you provide CPR documentation for EU tenders?
Yes—DoP/CPR (Eca–Dca, build-dependent) available on request.

Q5. What temperature ranges apply?
Transport/Storage/Operation −20 °C to +60 °C, Installation −5 °C to +50 °C.
