Applications
- Indoor and outdoor fiber distribution
- Aerial installation and installation in ducts
- Equipment and cabinet connections
- Fiber termination, pigtail and jumper applications
- Optical communication equipment and ODF connections
- Indoor/outdoor communication cable applications
- Customized fiber cable projects requiring LSZH sheathing
The final use should be checked against the installation environment, local fire-performance requirements and the project specification.
Packing, marking and delivery
The cable is protected on wooden drums. Permanent marking at 1-meter intervals includes the manufacturer’s name, year of manufacture, “ICE – TELECOMUNICACIONES” and sequential length marking in meters.
Delivery length: 1,000 m per reel/drum. Each reel/drum is individually packed in a protective box suitable for transportation, handling and storage.
The external package label includes the product name/designation, manufacturer, date/year of manufacture, procurement/contract number and “ICE – TELECOMUNICACIONES”.
Customization and project confirmation
Before quotation or production, please confirm:
- Required fiber type and fiber color
- LSZH compound or destination-market requirement
- Cable marking content
- Delivery length and drum requirement
- Required test documents and compliance documents
- Sample approval requirements, if applicable
The values on this page apply to the documented 3.0 mm LSZH configuration. They should not be transferred to other GJFJH constructions without checking the applicable specification.
FAQ
What fiber is used in this 3.0 mm GJFJH cable?
This documented configuration uses one G.657B3 fiber with a blue fiber color code.
Is the buffer easy to strip?
Yes. The specification describes a 0.9 mm LSZH easy-strip semi-buffer. Stripping performance should be confirmed against the approved sample and production specification.
What is the cable diameter?
The specified cable diameter is 3.0 ± 0.2 mm. The outer sheath thickness is 0.6–0.7 mm.
What is the difference between the 3.0 mm LSZH cable and the current generic listing?
This page is for a defined single-core G.657B3 / LSZH configuration. PVC options, G657A variants, other fiber counts and other temperature or mechanical values should be listed as separate configurations only when supported by their own specification.
What is the delivery length?
The specified delivery length is 1,000 m per reel/drum.
