Description
AimiFiber’s Indoor Invisible Fiber Optic Cable is designed for premium FTTR (Fiber-to-the-Room) indoor retrofits where aesthetics and installation efficiency matter. With a 0.9mm transparent jacket, the cable blends into walls, baseboards, door frames, and crown molding, delivering real fiber backhaul to each room without visible trunking, drilling, or messy cabling.
This product is ideal for installers, system integrators, and telecom contractors who need a clean, repeatable indoor fiber solution for apartments, villas, hotels, and renovated homes.

Default configuration we recommend:
- 0.9mm transparent invisible fiber
- Single-mode bend-insensitive fiber (G.657B3)
- SC/APC connectors (default)
Optional backups: 1.2mm cable / SC/UPC polish type (per project or device port requirement).
What Is FTTR “Invisible” Fiber?
FTTR extends fiber from the ONT/router into each major room, creating a stable wired backhaul for indoor APs and room terminals. “Invisible fiber” is an ultra-thin, transparent indoor fiber cable (typically 0.9–1.2mm) designed to route along indoor edges discreetly while maintaining optical stability.
Compared with traditional indoor patch cords or conduit-based routes, invisible fiber helps you achieve:
- Minimal visual impact
- Fast deployment in finished rooms
- Better performance and lower latency than wireless-only mesh backhaul
Why Installers Choose Pre-Connectorized Invisible Fiber for FTTR
1) No field polishing or complex termination
Factory-connectorized ends reduce on-site variability and speed up deployment.
2) Faster, cleaner installation
Hot-melt adhesive or micro-clips enable neat routing without drilling in most cases.
3) Stable optical performance
Factory-controlled termination supports consistent IL/RL performance across multi-room projects.
4) Better serviceability
When paired with an access box, slack storage and routing become more organized for future maintenance.
5) Designed for modern indoor Wi-Fi layouts
Ideal for room AP backhaul, IPTV terminals, home office connectivity, and multi-room coverage.
Key Features

Invisible Cable Optimized: Specially designed cable entry ports perfect for 0.9mm and 1.2mm transparent fibers, holding them securely without crushing.
Dual Mounting Options: Can be mounted on the wall (using screws or 3M adhesive) or placed on a desktop for flexible installation.
Auto-Shutter Protection: Built-in dust shutter protects users from laser exposure and keeps the connector clean when not in use.
Hidden Storage: Internal reel design allows for storage of excess fiber slack, keeping the installation neat and tidy.
Near-Invisible Appearance (0.9mm Transparent)
The transparent jacket visually adapts to common indoor backgrounds. Routed along baseboards and frames, it becomes difficult to notice in normal lighting.
Default SC/APC for FTTR Stability
We default to SC/APC because it is widely adopted in access networks and helps reduce back reflection.
SC/UPC is available when your ONT/router or indoor panel requires UPC.
Ultra Bend-Insensitive Fiber (Default G.657B3)
Default fiber type is G.657B3, chosen for tight indoor routing paths and corner turns common in FTTR retrofits.
Clean Handoff + Slack Management (Recommended Access Box)
The optional Invisible Fiber Access Box provides a neat indoor demarcation point and controlled slack storage. It improves aesthetics, protects the fiber, and simplifies future moves/adds/changes.
Typical Use Cases
- High-end residential FTTR retrofits (apartments, villas, renovated homes)
- Hotels / serviced apartments needing fast, clean indoor deployment
- Rentals where drilling or wall damage is restricted
- Heritage/finished interiors where trunking is not acceptable
- Indoor fiber backhaul for Wi-Fi 6/7 mesh and room APs

Installation Guidelines (Best Practices)
- Plan the routing path first: ONT/router → baseboard → door frame → ceiling edge → room AP / wall outlet
- Clean and dry the surface before adhesive fixing
- Route first, then fix; avoid tension on connector ends
- Avoid pinch points: doors, sharp edges, furniture legs, high-traffic areas
- Clean and inspect connectors before mating
- If using the Access Box: mount the box, choose top/bottom exit, release the needed length, and store remaining slack neatly inside

FAQ
1) What is an invisible FTTR fiber optic cable?
It is an ultra-thin, transparent indoor single-mode fiber designed to extend fiber from the main ONT/router to each room with minimal visual impact.
2) Why do you default to SC/APC?
SC/APC helps reduce back reflection and is commonly used in access networks. If your equipment requires SC/UPC, we can supply SC/UPC as an option.
3) Is 0.9mm cable durable enough for indoor use?
Yes—when routed correctly along edges (baseboards/frames) and away from pinch/abrasion points. The Access Box improves protection and slack control, reducing handling risk.
4) Do I need the Access Box?
Not mandatory, but strongly recommended for multi-room projects or when you want a clean handoff point, adjustable slack storage, and easier future maintenance.
5) Can it be installed without drilling?
In most indoor retrofit scenarios, yes. Hot-melt adhesive or micro-clips are commonly used. The Access Box can be mounted with adhesive, with screws as an optional reinforcement depending on wall type.
6) Can you supply bulk spools or finished patch leads?
Yes. We can supply bulk spools, pre-connectorized leads, and kit-style packaging depending on your installation workflow.
🔧 Installation FAQ
Q: Will this box fit the 1.2mm transparent cable?
A: Yes! This ATB is engineered to accommodate standard transparent fibers ranging from 0.9mm to 1.6mm, ensuring a secure fit for our AimiFiber Invisible Cable series.
Q: Does it come with the adapter?
A: Yes, the unit comes pre-loaded with a high-quality SC/APC (Green) adapter with an auto-shutter for dust protection.
For Project Evaluation
If you share your FTTR layout (ONT location, target rooms, approximate routing distance, and required connector type), we can recommend the best configuration (0.9mm vs 1.2mm, SC/APC vs SC/UPC, access box length option) and provide supporting documentation such as drawings and test records.
Request a quote / sample: Please send your required length, connector type, and quantity for bulk or project orders.
