Outdoor stranded loose-tube cable with corrugated steel tape (PSP) armor for ducts and lash-to-messenger aerial plant. Central phosphated steel strength member, gel-filled tubes plus 100% core filling for longitudinal water blocking. Available 2–144 fibers with UV-resistant PE jacket.
GYTS is a stranded loose-tube outdoor cable armored with longitudinal corrugated steel tape. Buffer tubes are filled with thixotropic gel around color-coded fibers, then stranded around a central steel strength member. The armored core is wrapped and sheathed with black PE. The result is a mechanically robust cable for ducts and lash-to-messenger aerial routes where crush loads, rodents, and moisture are common risks.
Key benefits
PSP armor: high crush strength and rodent deterrence for ducts and aerial corridors
100% water-blocked: gel in tubes + flooded core for longitudinal moisture protection
Central steel strength member: controls tensile and thermal strain
2–144 fibers: scalable feeder/distribution, easy color ID
Wide temp window: UV-resistant PE for long outdoor service life
Typical Applications
Underground ducts and handhole networks in metro and access builds
